1. Per-Device License Grant: Each SmartSDC E-SDC license entitlement grants the Customer the right to install and activate the E-SDC software on one (1) designated Windows workstation or server identified by its cryptographic Hardware ID. Purchasing a quantity of N units creates N independent single-device entitlements.

2. Full-Duration Offline Validity: Activated annual and monthly licenses are authorized to operate offline for the full duration of the paid term (365 days for annual plans, 30 days for monthly plans) without mandatory periodic cloud check-ins.

3. Hardware Replacement Transfers: Customers may transfer an active license to a replacement machine up to the plan's annual transfer allowance via the SmartSDC Customer Portal, provided the previous installation is deactivated.

4. Merchant Fiscal Responsibility: The Customer remains responsible for maintaining valid FRCS PKI smart-card credentials, accurate POS tax labels, and accurate workstation system time.
